Home & Electronics
Corrosion Hub & Total Corrosion Control protects your home & electronics from the damaging effects of rust.
Many home goods and electronics could be susceptible to rust and corrosion damages because of the metal components they are made of. Iron alloys like steel are vulnerable to rust, a type of corrosion caused by exposure of iron to oxygen and water or humidity.
Different types of metal may be at risk for galvanic corrosion. This is an electrochemical process that involves metal corrosion when it comes into electrical contact with another metal.
Corrosion Hub & Total Corrosion Control Rust Prevention
Corrosion Hub & Total Corrosion Control offers a broad range of choices for rust prevention for household items and electronics. These include:
Power Shield 91
Wet Film Corrosion Inhibitor and Lubricant. Non drying , provides
excellent lubricity, and is self-healing
Power shield 92
is the standard version of Power Shield 91. This product is prediluted, is
designed to protect in sheltered conditions for long-term outdoors.
Power Shield 93
is a water-based concentrate designed as a complete replacement for oil-based rust preventatives for indoor protection of equipment and components.
Cor-Pak Tablets
provide an extremely efficient dry method of protecting metals within a
package. Using VpCI technology, these easy-to-use tablets provide up to 24 months of corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The VpCIs vaporize and then attach to all metal surfaces, reaching even recessed areas. The protective monomolecular layer does
not need to be removed prior to processing or operation. In addition, Cor-Pak Tablets are nitrite, phosphate, and silicate free, making them safe to use and apply. Protects .25cu. ft. (7L) of enclosed space.
VpCI-101
impregnated foam devices are designed to provide corrosion protection for metal
components and parts enclosed in non-ventilated control boxes, cabinets or electrical boxes, enclosure cabinets, anti-tarnish silver storage bags for jewellery toolboxes. A VpCI101 device protects up to 1 cubic foot (28L) in volume.
VpCI-105 emitters
are unique devices designed to provide corrosion protection for metal
components and parts enclosed in non-ventilated control boxes, cabinets or tool boxes up to 5 cubic feet (141.6 liters) in volume. The VpCI (Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor) emits vapors
that absorb as molecular layers on metal surfaces to protect critical, complex and expensive electronic equipment and other metal components during operation, shipping or storage.
VpCI-111 emitters
are unique devices designed to provide corrosion protection for metal
components and parts enclosed in non-ventilated control boxes, cabinets or tool boxes up to 11 cubic feet (312 liters). The VpCIs (Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor) emit vapors, which form a molecular layer on internal metal surfaces to protect critical, complex and expensive
electronic equipment during operation, shipping or storage.
Power Rust Remover
is a water-based, heavy duty rust remover available in the form of liquid and powder. Innovative and economical rust remover is designed to remove corrosion, scale and naturally occurring oxides from iron, carbon and stainless steel, copper,
aluminum, magnesium and their alloys.
