Description

Cortec VpCI-148
is a new and improved grease resistant corrosion inhibiting paper.
In addition to its excellent corrosion inhibiting properties, VpCI- 148 also provides
resistance to greases, oils, and solvents. Unlike wax or polycoated papers, which
contribute to environmental problems, VpCI-148 contains a biobased coating and is
fully recyclable/ repulpable. Cortec VpCI-148 paper is made from neutral, natural
Kraft paper. In addition, VpCI-148 is also fluorochemical free providing an
environmentally friendly alternative to traditional grease resistant papers.

Application
Provides grease, oil, and solvent resistance • Oil is not absorbed on the paper but is left

Method of application
Place the printed grease resistant side out and wrap parts in the unprinted side, which contains the
corrosion inhibitor, as close to the surface of the product as practical, leaving little to no barrier
between the paper and metal surface. Use approximately 1 ft2 of VpCI® paper for each 3 ft2 of surface
to be protected, and 1 ft2 of VpCI® paper for every 0.5 ft3 of void space.
